High Voltage Electrician (Electrical Installations Above 1000 V)

Job Description

As a High Voltage Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical installations in industrial and power engineering facilities within high-voltage (HV) systems. Your work will contribute to the construction and implementation of energy and engineering projects, including linear infrastructure projects in the high-voltage sector.

With sufficient experience, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of workers, allowing you to further develop your managerial and leadership skills. You will ensure that all technical parameters of the construction comply with project documentation, applicable standards, and regulations.

You will be responsible for the quality and safety of the work performed. A typical day includes planning and executing electrical installations, as well as monitoring compliance with safety regulations at the workplace.

Candidate Requirements

Education

Candidates with the following education levels are suitable for this position:

• Secondary education with school-leaving examination
• Post-secondary or higher professional education
• Bachelor’s degree
• Master’s degree

Field of Education

Electrical engineering education (strong current). Certification according to Decree No. 22, 23, 24 is required.

Professional Skills

• Electrical installations – Expert level
• Machine operation – Expert level
• Technical thinking – Expert level
• Technical drawing – Advanced level

Language Skills

• English – Advanced (C1)
• German – Advanced (C1)

Driving License

Category B

Work Experience

Previous experience as an industrial electrician is required.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
